The food from the people's pub lives in my mind rent free. I just found myself cooking dinner and thinking about their Brussels sprouts which are unbelievable, and knew I had to make this review. I spent a few months in the area and visited often. Everything is delicious and fresh - I love being able to watch the food prep! It's clearly a family run joint which is really refreshing as well. You really can't go wrong with any options but try their specials! I had a fall squash lasagna years ago that I still try (and fail) at recreating, it was just SO good!
Yet another spectacular night at the pub. This is THE spot to be on Main St at any given day. The Pub easily has the best bartenders in upstate new york. Brian, Laney, and Shane are outstanding and unmatchable bartenders. They are attentative, personable, and all possess a great sense of humor to make you feel a warm welcome. The food never dissapoints. I have a regular order, but tend to switch it up on occasion as to try new things. The cooks are fantastic and the meals/appatisers are flawless. Full of flavor and served with excellent presentation. I would also like to mention, the pool table upstairs is a great time and a fun peice to the pub! As we approach the cold winter, I advise you to become a regular at the pub. Wether it be for a lunch date, or a late night beer, it will be one of the best decisions you make, I assure you.

Cute little pub on Main Street. Nice selection of cocktails, beers and American food. The bartender was very friendly and chatted with me for awhile. But it was also dead quiet at 4pm on a Saturday, which was ok by me. I had a tuna dish for dinner (see photos) that was pretty tasty. I asked the bartender for a food recommendation and that's what he suggested. He was right. It was good and I'm glad I got something tasty and healthy. Would for sure go back.
Cold, rainy March night in Chatham, NY. We felt the need to get out for dessert. The People's Pub has the (gas) fireplace and the working kitchen welcoming us for carrot cake with rum cream. Neighbors are at the bar,". Glad we stepped out.
Wonderful food, beer, and atmosphere! The staff was great. Def recommend. We went on a Saturday when they had the live Irish music which was wonderful! Def going back.
